Football Free Fridays

At our last meeting, the Active School Committee decided to try out a new initiative called ‘Football Free Fridays’. The idea behind this is to encourage students to explore different activities during lunch time, other than football. It allows them to participate in new games and learn new skills with their peers, while also benefitting pupils who do not like to play football every day.

So far, our 'Football Free Fridays' have seen the pupils being very active. Basketball has become very popular on Fridays! As a result the school invested in some new basketballs, while several parents kindly bought basketballs for the school too. The pupils have been making use of the tennis rackets, balance beams, skipping ropes, hula hoops and are also enjoying playground games. ASF Committee members update our ASF noticeboard with our ‘Playground Game of the Week’.
