In 2017, for the first time, pupils from 2nd Class to 6th Class took part in swimming lessons. We decided to focus on the Aquatics strand of the Physical Education Curriculum this year as an area that needed improvement. These swimming lessons took place in Roganstown, every Wednesday, over six weeks during the autumn school term. They proved to be a huge success, with every child growing in confidence and ability in the water and having great fun with their friends. This is something we hope to continue in our school  going forward.
